David Richardson's memories of Puget Sound radio reach back to the early 1930's when his mother wrote advertising for the radio station, KJR. Dave worked for a radio station as a disc jockey while he was in high school. During World War II, he worked for the American Forces Network in Bremen and Frankfurt, Germany, where he was an engineer and Mickey Rooney's sound effects man.
